Perception of matter in change

The second look is decisive. It´s longer, more intense, multidimensional.
He encounters an interior, a core, exposing the hidden, reshaping.
In the monotonous flow of time, there can not be an end to the beginning, only a continued presence.

Robert Sainer, born in Munich, lives and works in Seeshaupt as a freelance artist.

He brought his artistic inspiration when images learned to walk in the digital age, with 3D animation and 3D modeling, co-creating with current digital techniques, some of which are based on AI. In combination with his craft skills such as analog and digital photography as well as painting, all this flows into series such as Water and Skywalk, among others. In his latest works. (Kaleidsokop, protoplanetary processes)…this is shown as a contemporary development of the collage technique.

His works and series are about orders, patterns, energies that can be perceived as cycles of decay and becoming: Eternity human-synthetic or organic

Statement on the works of Robert Sainer

SARDO
For some time now has been hanging in the conference and meeting room of the Catholic
Kreisbildungswerk Bad Tölz, the picture („Sardo“) of Mr. Robert Sainer.
This picture has a different atmospheric effect on the work in the room. The strong colour
inspires freshness, liveliness and alertness.
It encourages new thoughts, visions and ideas.
The centring of the calyx-like image encourages concentration, looking at things
Essentials to come to the invitation to the centre.
This is helpful for an educational institution that has “values” at the centre of its offering
supporting artwork.

In the entrance area of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen Catholic district education centre
Hangs the work „PINAMX“.
The mixture of the unique dynamics and the radiated calm works perfectly
Balance on the observer. The view into the centre evokes a feeling of
Infinity. The „piano keyboard“ is reminiscent of melodic moments.

Landscape Architecture in Spain on the island Ibiza

Don’t play with me, ‚cause you’re playing with fire

This line from the Rolling Stones song stands for the memorial
at the bay of “Es Canaret” in Ibiza.
In the years 2009 – 2011 3 huge forest fires destroyed large parts of
of the nature reserve on the Spanish island.
Faced with the disaster, Robert Sainer created this 7m tall sculpture from the remaining tree trunks.
The shape is reminiscent of a campfire or a pyre. Seen from the stars (satellite images), the sculpture looks like a star.
The sculpture is part of a landscape art, with hiking trails and viewpoints. The landscape art, created by Robert Sainer, is still a popular destination for nature lovers.

SPACE TIME
Robert Sainer’s photography transforms objects of the
daily life in highly artificial art images: the orange
and rust-red exposed rhombic grid shows parallel straight lines,
the same rails to a vanishing point outside of the
Show picture frame. For the students of the conducting class
of the Mozarteum University Salzburg symbolizes the picture
the constant pursuit of personal and
artistic development.
